Maxton
Maxton was diagnosed with seizures last fall. It's been a struggle to get his medication right to control them. Last week while Maxton was having a seizure, three stray dogs jumped the fence of the foster home and attacked him. They did serious and severe damage to Maxton. He had to have a front leg amputated. Maxton is now undergoing care for his wounds and physical rehabilitation. His outlook at this point is still quite good, amazingly! He will learn to walk and run with three legs and his medication for his seizures should stabilize him enough that he rarely has more. Maxton is not available for adoption at this time. We will keep you updated on his progress. Please include Maxton in your thoughts and prayers! |

Maxton is a great hound dog! He has that laid back personality that attracts
people who love hounds. Maxton is a total love at his foster home. Maxton is a
couch potato and front porch lounger (inside his fenced yard, of course)! He is
the typical hound who, if not on the scent of something is waiting for a smell
to pass by. He can wait for hours!
